Picnik lets you edit all your photos online, from one easy place.
Picnik.com~A Disclaimer
First off, I would like to start off by saying I am in no way affiliated with Picnik.com , nor is this a paid advertisement for their site. I am but a humble user and lover of what this site is capable of doing. My opinion is in no way the opinion of the owners or creators of the site, I am but a fan.
Picnik.com- A Bit of Information
Picnik.com came about a few years ago and their headquarters are located in downtown Seattle, WA according to their wikipedia page. I recently stumbled upon the website last year while making a quick little website whose photo editor was connected to Picnik. I had played around a little with their editing tools to do basic labor on photos such as : cropping, correcting exposure and maybe adding a fun border every once in a while. I always longed to see what was behind door number two though. They had premium features such as Wrinkle Remover, and an option to change your eye colour! I was excited and wanted to know more and was finally able to get my hands on a premium membership back in October. I've been hooked ever since! I want to share some of those features with you today!
Picnik.com-Premium features walk through
After you upload your photo that you want to manipulate you have the option of changing the eye colour to any shade you want! They have predetermined set colours like Blue, green, brown, and Gray. These colours can be brightened or made darker to make it look more realistic in hue or even more outrageous! I chose to go with a dark green to compliment the red/orange hue in her hair.
Her hair colour was a little faded and washed out from natural process and exposure on the photo and it was easily brightened and highlights added. These premium features allow you to go from any shade of hair you have to any shade of hair you want. So it's basically like giving yourself a "try it before you buy it" make over!
Picnik.com- You Rock!
After you are done editing your photo and all the final touches have been applied and you are happy, you have the option to save your photo how you want! They offer an array of sites to which you can upload your photos directly such as Facebook, Myspace, Picasa or you can even save it straight to your computer! They offer tons of free items and editing tools you can use on your photos. You are even allowed to test drive a Premium item on a photo to see how it works (though none of those processes can be saved). The website is free and you do not need an account to use their services but if you take a few seconds to make one all your uploaded photos are saved, as well as all of your edited photos. The Premium option is available to buy as a monthly trial, a six month trial or a year long subscription, costing as little as $2.08 a month with unlimited usage! I don't post a photo anymore without using Picnik.com.
Thanks for taking the time to read my Review and I would like to give a very special Thank you to Sunny Robinson for allowing me to use her photo! The finished product is currently her Hubpages Profile picture!
What do you think are the odds of you using the Premium features on Picnik.com?

What a great cloud based tool! Thanks for sharing! It just makes photo editing a lot easier rather than having to install programs and waiting for it to launch. Will be trying it out to see if it could really replace a normal photo editing software!
I'm glad you like it. There are other free options you can use that no downloading is required but they are more difficult to use. I like the simplicity and ease of use that Picnik offers. It has always been my top favorite when it comes to photo editing pictures of people. Other great sites such as Pixlr.com and Lunapic.com offer different options for free without downloading but at the same time it is not nearly as easy to manipulate and won't always offer a beginner the same kind of results as Picnik.

even the unpaid version still has lots of fun tools to play with.. and though you cant save the editing you can still play with the premium options to see how they work.
